Types of Services Provided by ABC (All providers have had level two background screening):

senior home care,private duty,in home health care Registered Nurse (RN): is a person who has a degree in nursing. They maintain a current Florida State License as a registered nurse. Their responsibilities may include assessing and evaluating the patient and reporting any progress and regression to the patient's physician.

senior home care,private duty,in home health care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): is a graduate of an approved educational program for licensed practical nurses. Maintains a current Florida State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. A Licensed Practical Nurse operates under the direction of a Registered Nurse or a Physician.

senior home care,private duty,in home health care Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide: Maintains state certification and or a graduate of a state approved training program. Assists with activities of daily living (hands on care) as required by Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

 

senior home care,private duty,in home health care Companions/Sitters: Provides basic non-medical services such as: light housekeeping, errands and general companionship.

  • The caregiver meets the patient at their home/residence/facility and prepares them for the trip.
  • They assist the patient to the patient's vehicle or to the vehicle of a third party provider
  • Help the patient into the desired location
  • Care for the patient during the visit
  • Help the patient back into the vehicle
  • Accompany them back to their homes residences and facilities
